TIANJAN is a small engineering studio that designs gears, gearboxes, product enclosures and industrial equipment. We work remotely: you send drawings, photos or scan data, and we send back manufacturable 3D models, 2D drawings and calculation sheets.
Three disciplines, one team — so the interfaces between structure, transmission and appearance are settled before anything is released for tooling.
Spur / helical / bevel / worm / planetary gears, gearboxes and reducers. Tooth geometry, profile shift, strength and backlash are calculated, not guessed.
Injection-moulded housings, sheet-metal enclosures and machined parts, with draft angles, wall thickness, GD&T and DFM review built into the model.
A physical sample with no drawing: we measure, solve the original parameters, rebuild the 3D model and issue 2D drawings for machining.
You talk to the engineer who draws the part.
Module, tooth count, profile shift, helix angle and centre distance are solved against load and life targets. Where a standard is specified (ISO 6336, AGMA, DIN, JIS or GB/T), we state it on the drawing and in the calculation sheet.
Native Creo / Rhino models plus neutral STEP, DWG and PDF drawings, BOM, heat-treatment and surface-finish notes, and inspection requirements. Your workshop does not have to call us to read the drawing.
Obsolete spare gears, repair parts and single prototypes are routine work for us. We do not require a minimum order quantity.
We can sign an NDA before you send files. Project files are archived separately and case studies on this site are shown with client details removed.
Any of these is enough to begin a conversation.
Send a short description and we will come back within 48 hours with an assessment and a quote. The initial assessment is free and there is no obligation to continue.
