Imported machines go out of production, spare-part drawings get lost, and a single worn gear stops a line. We measure the sample, recover the original design parameters and issue a manufacturable model and drawing for a drop-in replacement.
Not a caliper trace — a solved parameter set.
Tooth count, tip / root diameters, span measurement over teeth, measurement over pins, centre distance, face width and any keyways or bolt patterns.
Module (or DP), pressure angle, profile shift, helix angle and hand are solved from several independent measurements; residuals are checked so a worn tooth does not silently become the new design.
Hardness, material and heat treatment are identified, and an appropriate precision grade is assigned before the drawing is issued.
A package your machine shop can act on.
Any one of these can start a project.
A single gear, a mated pair, or a whole gearbox assembly. Measuring a pair together is preferred because centre distance and meshing relationship cannot be inferred reliably from one part.
STL / OBJ scan data, CMM reports, or a table of measured values. We can also work from an existing 3D model that lacks a usable 2D drawing.
We will confirm what can be recovered, what extra data is needed, and give you a quote before you ship anything.
